Our Journeys

Join our January 2025 Journey: Designing Regeneration: An 18-Week Cohort Learning Opportunity for Grantmakers and Movement Leaders

What are Journeys?

At Creative Disruptors, "journeys" transcend the traditional notion of "courses"; they are transformative passages of exploration and profound growth. All community members embark on a deeply personal odyssey, immersing themselves in the acquisition of knowledge, the refinement of skills, and the profound discovery of self. These journeys are not mere educational endeavors but pathways to empowerment and liberation.

Guided by the enduring wisdom of our ancestors, we honor their legacy by curating learning experiences that go beyond imparting knowledge—they inspire and empower future generations to enact meaningful change. Rooted in ancestral knowledge, these journeys are a testament to resilience, fostering connections that bridge past wisdom with present challenges.

Our commitment extends to offering varied journeys tailored to various career levels, ensuring that each participant finds a path that resonates deeply and facilitates their own growth towards personal and professional liberation. By embracing these journeys, participants not only expand their skills and knowledge but also cultivate a profound sense of purpose and agency to effect positive change in their communities and beyond.

Creative Disruptors Refund Policy

At Creative Disruptors, we recognize the significant effort and resources that our facilitators and participants invest in our programs. We understand that the economic realities for BIPOC leaders can be uniquely challenging due to systemic barriers and the often exploitative nature of labor expectations in various sectors. Our refund policy is designed to honor this understanding, ensuring flexibility and fairness.

Our journeys are priced to be as accessible as possible while fairly compensating our facilitators for their expertise and labor. Pricing details for each journey are clearly stated on our registration pages and promotional materials.

Refund Eligibility and Conditions

  1. Full Refund: Participants are eligible for a full refund if they cancel their registration up to two weeks before the journey begins. This timeframe respects the administrative and preparatory work involved while allowing us to reallocate resources efficiently.

  2. Partial Refund: If cancellation occurs less than two weeks but more than 1 week before the journey start date, a 50% refund will be issued. This policy acknowledges the commitment and preparatory work our leaders have invested, ensuring they are partially compensated for their efforts.

  3. Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 1 week before the journey start time are not eligible for a refund. At this stage, resources have been fully allocated, and significant preparatory work has been completed.

  4. Exceptions for Hardship: We understand unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants may submit a written request for an exception to our refund policy. These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and we may offer a partial refund or credit towards future journeys, depending on the situation.

Processing Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of the cancellation request.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

  • Participants will receive a confirmation via email once the refund has been processed.

Support and Communication For any questions regarding our refund policy or to discuss a potential refund under the hardship exceptions, please contact us at WAWG@creativedisruptorscollaborative.com. Encouraging Ongoing Engagement We value each participant’s involvement and understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary. We encourage those unable to attend this time to consider joining future journeys and initiatives, as we continually seek to support and uplift the voices and leadership of BIPOC individuals in the arts and culture sector.
