Our Journey Continues…

Creative Disruptors is an online collaborative that provides journeys and resources for arts and culture leaders of the global majority seeking to create positive social impact through their work. We are rooted in the ubuntu values of respect for others, helpfulness, community, sharing, caring, trust, and unselfishness, we strive to empower our learners with the tools, knowledge, and network to become effective cultural leaders in their communities.

We envision a world where arts and culture are drivers of justice and liberation, where artists and cultural workers are supported and empowered to create positive change, and where cultural leadership is recognized as a critical component of a thriving and just society.

We call our offerings "journeys" rather than "courses" because they symbolize transformative paths of exploration and growth, where each participant embarks on a personal odyssey through knowledge, skill acquisition, and profound self-discovery, ultimately leading to empowerment and liberation. Guided by the wisdom of our elders and ancestors, we honor their legacy by fostering learning experiences that not only educate but also inspire and empower future generations to enact meaningful change in their communities and beyond. Different Journeys can focus on different career levels.

Our goal is to offer journeys focusing on different topics facilitated by visionary BIPOC educators and facilitators across the arts and culture sector after our pilot.
